Abstract

In this study, diurnal temperature range (DTR – defined as difference between daily maximum and
minimum air temperature) in the northern part of Poland in relation to atmospheric circulation types by
B. Osuchowska-Klein was investigated. To discover the most characteristic features of geographical
distribution of DTR for all distinguished circulation patterns in selected months and the whole year data
from 22 IMGW weather stations (from the 1971-1995 period) were used and presented on the maps.
